HANGING UP MY BOOTS, FOR NOW

As from January 2023,  I am  hanging up my boots: not offering my usual monthly schedule of public walks.

I shall still be available to devise and lead private walks, as I have done for a variety of organisations: https://walkhackney.co.uk/walks/private-walks/.

After 21 years creating Hackney history tours in 20 parts of the borough, there are still two more I want to put together before the whole of today’s LBH is covered by my network of walks. So keep checking out this website to see when they will be offered.

If there are any of my walks (https://walkhackney.co.uk/walks/schedule-walks/) you missed and would like  to go on, get in touch. If others register interest in the same walks, I’ll arrange a date to repeat them.

Remember at https://walkhackney.co.uk/self-guided/ are a number of short, self-guided walks you might enjoy following. I’ll try to add to them as the year goes by.

As I shall now have time to carry out more research into Hackney’s history, ideas for new walks might emerge for me to develop, to be delivered on an ad hoc basis. If you are on my mailing list, I’ll keep you posted.

Thank you for your support over the years, coming on my walks. Keep well and carry on walking with an eye out for the history.
