Rhodes Town Walk

This will take place again on Saturday, 7th April, 2018 at 11am.

This walk investigates how the Rhodes family (of Cecil fame) developed their Dalston estate, west of London Fields, into Hackney suburbia from 1807 into the 1870s. The walk focuses on the building process, the Rhodes family, the domestic architecture, the careers of some of the builders and details of some of the first inhabitants.

Duration : 2¼ hours

 Cost: £10 (£8 concessions) – pay on the day

Start: Dalston Lane entrance, Dalston Junction Station, London, E8 3DL at 11am

End: Violet, 47 Wilton Way, LONDON E8 3ED – 10% discount offered to those on the walk.
